As a UX/UI designer, I blend creativity, empathy, and analytical thinking to sculpt user-centered digital experience.
From a young age, I've been naturally drawn to the intersection of visual design and human psychology. As a child, I harbored dreams of pursuing a career as either a graphic designer or a psychiatrist. However, life led me down a different path into finance and accounting. After earning my CPA license shortly after college, I spent a decade immersed in the world of finance as a dedicated professional.
My journey as a UX/UI designer began when I discovered that the field seamlessly integrated art, psychology, and business. While I valued my work in finance, I found myself drawn to how UX/UI field tackled challenges by melding visual design with a business-oriented mindset and a deep understanding of user needs.
For me, design goes beyond aesthetics; it's about empathy and adding value to users. I aspire to be a designer who starts with empathy, truly understands users' needs and challenges, and then applies critical thinking to enhance their experiences.
My previous roles as an M&A consultant and FP&A professional equipped me with invaluable analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset. Working with extensive data sets and collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders honed my ability to prioritize users' and stakeholders' needs.
Outside of designing, I enjoy drawing, leather crafting, spending time with my husband and our dog Teddy, exploring new coffee shops and desserts, and capturing the beauty of nature through photography. I believe that the success of a design is based on problem-solving with curiosity and a user-centric mind.
